Tina2C is designed to make 3D printing approachable for beginners, with easy setup, compact classroom-friendly design, and simple project workflows for STEM, STEAM, maker spaces, art, and design activities.
Yes. Selected U.S. K-12 schools may receive a complimentary 3D printing kit from Entina as part of this program. Availability is limited and applications are reviewed before approval.
U.S.-based K-12 schools, teachers, STEM programs, maker spaces, engineering or technology classes, art programs, and eligible after-school programs may apply.
The initial application is designed to be simple. We primarily need your school name, school website, and contact email so our team can review the program fit.
Applications may be reviewed based on school information, intended classroom use, program needs, potential student impact, and available program inventory.
Selected schools may receive at least one Entina TINA2C 3D printer and one 4-in-1 filament set. Additional support or equipment may be considered for larger programs depending on the application and available resources.
No advanced 3D printing or repair experience is required for normal classroom use. Teachers can begin with basic tasks such as loading filament, selecting a model, and starting a print. If something unusual happens, teachers are not expected to disassemble or repair internal components themselves.
Pause or stop the print and record what happened. A photo or short video of the display, print result, unusual movement, or sound can help Entina support identify the issue more quickly. For repeated errors or anything beyond basic setup, contact Entina support before continuing classroom use.
Stop using the printer, turn it off, and disconnect the power. Students should not troubleshoot electrical, heating, or internal hardware components. Contact Entina support before using the printer again.
Normally, teachers should not need to repeatedly rebuild the printer setup before every lesson. If the nozzle repeatedly contacts the build plate, the first layer becomes consistently uneven, or the same adjustment is needed before every print, treat it as a troubleshooting issue rather than repeatedly recalibrating the machine.
Start with the basic checks recommended by Entina. If the problem continues, contact support and provide photos, videos, or details about what happened. Teachers and students should not be expected to perform advanced hardware repairs as part of normal classroom use.
Start by checking that the build surface is clean and the printer is properly set up. You can also try a known-good test model to help determine whether the issue is related to the printer setup or the model being printed. If the same problem continues across different files, contact Entina support.
Stop the print and check that the filament can move freely from the spool and is not tangled, sharply bent, or blocked along the visible feed path. Do not force filament into the printer or ask students to disassemble the nozzle. If the issue continues, contact support.
Try printing a known-good test model first. This can help determine whether the issue is related to the model or slicing settings, or whether the printer itself needs attention. If the problem appears across multiple files or repeatedly happens at the same stage of a print, document the result and contact support.
Yes. Students can work with suitable 3D models as part of classroom projects, subject to the file formats and workflow supported by the printer and software being used. For younger students or first-time classes, starting with tested models can make the first classroom experience easier.
Check that the file is prepared in a supported format and use a simple file name whenever possible. If a file that previously worked is no longer visible, or multiple files cannot be recognized, the issue may involve the file, storage media, or printer setup. Contact support if basic checks do not resolve it.
First confirm that the printer and the device running the app have a reliable network connection, then retry the setup within good Wi-Fi range. If the printer connects to the network but models still cannot be transferred, Entina support can help determine whether the issue involves connectivity, file transfer, storage media, or device setup.
No. Schools may share student projects, finished prints, classroom materials, printer-use footage, or non-identifiable classroom scenes. Sharing identifiable student photos or videos is not required for the initial application.
Yes. Participation does not require schools to publicly identify individual students. Schools can focus on the projects, finished prints, classroom activities, or teacher feedback instead.
If identifiable students appear in materials shared with Entina, the school is responsible for obtaining any permissions required by its own policies and applicable requirements before sharing those materials.
