FAQS

Require help? Get in touch now

The TINA2S has a print height limit of ★10cm.

☆If your model exceeds the capacity of a single print, I recommend two solutions: First, segmented printing: Use WiiBuilder software to split the model horizontally or vertically into multiple sections smaller than 10cm. Print each separately and then assemble them. We can design joints or pre-reserved gluing surfaces to ensure strength and aesthetics after assembly. Second, scaled printing: Scale the model down to a height of 10cm at a 67% scale.

☆This is the simplest method if detail requirements are low. Scaled printing is usually sufficient for educational demonstrations or proofs of concept; for functional parts, segmented printing is more appropriate.

☆We can help determine the best solution based on your specific needs and provide technical support.

★Weighing 3 kg (6.6 lbs)
The TINA2S is equivalent to a small laptop and designed with portability in mind.

☆Compared to similar products on the market: standard desktop FDM printers typically weigh 7-15 kg; most educational printers exceed 5 kg; the TINA2S weighs only 3 kg, making it ultra-lightweight.

☆This portability is reflected in its ability to be easily carried with one hand, convenient for on-the-go teaching demonstrations, and simple to move between office areas. Its dedicated carrying area ensures stable transport.

☆Its compact size (taking up little desk space) and lightweight design make the TINA2S particularly suitable for classrooms, small studios, and educational training environments that require frequent relocation.

☆If you frequently use your 3D printer in different locations, the TINA2S is an ideal choice.

☆It can perfectly print materials such as PLA, Silk PLA, TPU (95A), ABS, and supports high-speed filaments.

It supports ★1.75mm standard diameter filament.

☆Printing time depends on four main factors: model volume, infill density, print speed, and layer thickness.

★Using TINA2S as an example, printing a 10cm tall model of medium complexity takes approximately 8-10 hours for a solid model (100% infill), 4-6 hours for a typical utility model (20% infill), and 3-4 hours for a hollow decorative object (10% infill).

★A quick estimate: For a medium-complexity model with 20% infill and a 0.2mm layer thickness, printing time per cubic centimeter of material is approximately 2-3 minutes. For example, a 5×5×10cm (250cm³) model would take approximately 250×2.5cm, or 625 minutes (approximately 10 hours).

★To shorten printing time, you can: increase the layer thickness to 0.3mm (saving approximately 30% time); reduce the infill density to 10% (saving approximately 15% time); or increase the print speed (which may affect accuracy).

TINA2S's ☛WiiBuilder software☚ accurately calculates printing time during slicing, helping you plan your work.

The standard nozzle is ★0.4mm,and supports layer thickness settings ranging from ★0.1mm to ★0.4mm.

Layer thickness selection directly impacts three aspects: First, surface quality: The smaller the layer thickness, the less noticeable the layer texture and the smoother the model surface. A layer thickness of 0.1mm provides virtually invisible delamination, suitable for high aesthetics; 0.2mm is a common balance; and 0.3-0.4mm is suitable for rapid prototyping.

Second, printing time: halving the layer thickness roughly doubles the printing time. For a standard Chess Rook test model, for example, a 0.1mm layer thickness takes approximately 120 minutes; a 0.2mm layer takes approximately 65 minutes; and a 0.3mm layer takes approximately 45 minutes. Finally, detail: A smaller layer thickness enhances the ability to render fine details and surface transitions.

For architectural models or character figurines, a 0.1-0.15mm layer thickness is recommended; functional parts can use 0.2mm; and large, rough prototypes can use 0.3mm.
